An exhibition in Göppingen focuses on the glass artist and designer Jörg F. Zimmermann. On display are numerous works from different work phases of this pioneer of the German studio glass movement. Central to Zimmermann's oeuvre is the symbiosis of glass and wire. They combine art, craft and chance, for which he received international recognition. Contrary to the predetermined rigidity of glass as a material, these "honeycomb objects" appear fluid and supple, organically grown - inspired by the unlimited diversity of nature.
The event is accompanied by a diverse program of guided tours, concerts and creative activities for children.
