Data protection

Those operating these pages take the protection of your personal data extremely seriously. We observe confidentiality in the handling of your personal data and in keeping with legal regulations concerning data protection and this declaration of data protection. When you use this website, certain personal data will be stored. Personal data are data, through which you might be personally identified. The current declaration regarding data protection specifies which data we collect and what they are used for. It also specifies how and for what purpose that occurs. We point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. in e-mail communications) can reveal security loopholes. Total protection of data from access by third parties is impossible.

Cancellation of your consent to data processing

We shall obtain your express consent for any processing of your data. Any previously granted consent can be cancelled at any time and will take effect for the future. For this to take place, all that is required is an informal notification sent to us by e-mail at: info(at)glasspool.de. The legitimacy of any data processing occurring before the cancellation is unaffected by the cancellation.

SSL- or TLS coding

For security reasons and in order to protect transmission of confidential content, for example regarding inquiries which you as a page-user send us, this website uses an SSL or TLS coding. You will be able to recognize an encoded communication from the fact that the address-line of the browser will start not with “http://” but with “https://” and also from the lock-symbol in your browser-line. When the SSL or TLS encoding is activated, the data, which you are conveying to us, cannot be read by any third party.

Information, Blocking, Deletion

Within the framework of the currently valid legal regulations you have the right at any time to information, free of charge, about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients and the purpose for which the data were used and possibly the right to amend, block or delete such data. For answers to any further questions you may have on the subject of personal data you may at any time contact us using the address indicated in the imprint.

Rejection of advertising material

The transmission of publicity material and information, which have not been specifically requested, within the framework of the publicly available contact details in the imprint is hereby prohibited. Legal steps will be taken against those who forward such pages in cases when publicity information that has not been requested is received, via spam e-mails, for instance.

Separate processing procedures

1. Preparation and use of the website

Cookies

Internet pages sometimes use so-called “cookies”. They do not harm your computer and they do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make what we offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small data files, which are filed away in your computer and which your browser stores. Most of the cookies which we use are so-called “session-cookies”. At the end of your visit to the site they are automatically switched off. Other cookies remain stored in your computer until you switch off the latter. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser when you next visit our website. First, however, we should like to ask for your consent for us to use such cookies. You can adjust your browser in such a way that you should be informed about the use of cookies and should only allow their use in a specific individual case, while ruling out acceptance of cookies for a wider range of cases or in general and also the automatic activation for the deletion of cookies when your browser is closed. If cookies are de-activated this can lead to a restriction of this website’s functionality. Cookies which are required for you to carry out an electronic process or to prepare for specific functions you desire to install, can be stored on the basis of Art.6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website user has a legitimate interest in the storing of cookies so as to ensure optimal provision of his services free of technical faults. So far as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysis of your surfing activity) are stored, these will be treated separately in this data-protection statement.

Server-Log-Data files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server-log-data files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • the operation system used – Referrer URL

  • the host name of the accessing computer

  • the time when the server is accessed

  • IP-address

No attempt will be made to combine these data with other data sources. The basis for the data processing is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b. DSGVO, which permits the processing of data in order to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures.

2. Membership

In order to guarantee proper administration formalities and attention paid to our members, we process, on the basis of Art. 6 Abs 1b and 1f of the data-protection decree, the following data provided by our members: surname, first name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, data relating to the association (for example, the date when the member joined the association, profession or type of membership) and, in cases where a SEPA direct-debit scheme has been set up, the necessary account number and bank sort-code.
