Museumsdorf Baruther Glashütte

The Museum Village Baruther Glashütte is a technical monument in the south of the district Teltow-Fläming in Brandenburg. The museum focuses on the social and technical history of the old glassmaking village. A glassmaker explains his craft to visitors. The Forum Glas e.V. is a non-profit association founded in Bad Münder in 2006 to promote glass art, glass history and glass archaeology in the Deister-Süntel region of the northern Weserbergland. Its diverse activities and projects are documented in detail and up-to-date on its homepage. The association cooperates closely with the Westphalian Glass Forum and the Fachausschuß V of the Deutsche Glastechnische Gesellschaft e.V..
