Web portal Glass from Brandenburg

The digitisation project of the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation together with the Potsdam Museum - Forum for Art and History has continued to grow. In 2019, 310 historical glass objects from nine partner museums were entered into the web portal "Glass from Brandenburg. Production diversity from the 16th to the 18th century".
Once again, the majority of the new additions are unpublished. High-quality goblets from the court manufactories and rare bottles made of forest glass, as well as many glass brands from a wide variety of manufacturers have been added. Divided into neatly arranged themes, the objects form a valid cross-section of all surviving glass products of the epoch, enable new attributions and expand the hitherto fragmentary knowledge of these important sources of Brandenburg's cultural history. In 2020, six houses will cooperate.
