Call for Entries: Glass 2026 – 9th Immenhausen Glass Prize
Call for Entries: Competition for Contemporary Glass Art in Germany, May 9–October 31, 2026

In 2026, the Immenhausen Glass Prize will be awarded for the ninth time. Artists living and working in Germany may submit three new glass objects. The selected works will be displayed in an exhibition at the Immenhausen Glass Museum from May 9 to October 31, 2026. The aim of the competition is to present trends and developments in contemporary glass art on a national level and to give glass artists special recognition and appreciation for their work.
Artists may submit applications until March 8, 2026, with studio glass objects, flat glass works, and innovative hollow glass designs.
The works will be displayed in showcases. Therefore, they must not exceed a depth or diameter of 50 cm. Freestanding objects, wall-mounted objects, and installations are only permitted by prior arrangement. Flat glass works should not exceed the dimensions: H 120 cm, W 80 cm.
