Gravure on Tour – a title that says it all!
Under this name, exhibitions dedicated to glass engraving have been taking place in museums and glass centers across Europe for the past 13 years. These exhibitions are organized at regular intervals by the Glass Engraving Network, or GEN for short.
The declared aim of this international network is to draw attention to outstanding contemporary engraving works — all of which demonstrate that glass engraving, despite or perhaps because of its long tradition, remains a vibrant, magical, and inspiring art form.

Around 40 artists from 10 countries present their individual visual language through a wide range of artistic concepts and approaches. Most of the works are no older than two years, and many were created specifically for this exhibition. One thing is certain: glass engraving is not standing still — it’s on the move, on tour!
