The Lette Glass Museum is presenting to the public approximately 60 newly acquired works from the years 2021 and 2022. As in previous years, these acquisitions were made during visits to exhibitions, fairs, and art events both within Germany and abroad.

Many artists have made productive use of the period of stagnation brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, turning it into a phase of heightened creativity. They were confronted with considerable challenges, as the conditions imposed by the pandemic significantly hindered both the handling of glass as a material and the continuation of their artistic practices.
Nonetheless, they developed innovative strategies for navigating this crisis, which are manifest in their new works.

Once again, it becomes apparent that glass as an artistic medium is capable of flourishing even under the most adverse conditions.
