The Danner Foundation is once again organizing a state-wide competition for arts and crafts in Bavaria in 2023.

With the competition, which takes place every three years, the Danner Foundation aims to promote new creative ideas and developments in the arts and crafts sector. Particular emphasis is placed on the artistic quality of the work. The patron is the Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, Hubert Aiwanger, MdL.

The competition is endowed with the Danner Prize in the amount of € 15,000. A jury will decide on the awarding of the prize. The jury can award up to four further works that it considers particularly worthy of support with additional honorary prizes worth a total of € 12,000.
