The Glass Founders’ Workshop Zwiesel is a specialized business incubator located in the Bavarian Forest, specifically designed for glass designers and makers. Its main focus is the provision of professional workshop spaces that can be rented flexibly, enabling a direct entry into independent professional practice.
The studios are equipped to a high standard and cover a broad spectrum of glass processing techniques. The spaces are designed to accommodate both independent artistic projects and the development of small-scale series production. Different workshop areas can be used and combined according to individual needs.
A major advantage is the existing infrastructure: machinery, workstations, and technical equipment are readily available without requiring high initial investments. This allows users to focus on their creative practice while simultaneously building their professional future. The flexible rental model makes it possible to realize projects efficiently and according to demand.
The program is further enhanced by its creative environment within the traditional glassmaking region of Zwiesel. Exchange with other workshop users, together with access to professional expertise, encourages development and networking. The result is a workspace that equally supports continuous learning, experimentation, and professional practice.
